dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación coloca el foco en los procesos de transferencia en torno a las técnicas vernáculas en base a fibras vegetales para usos típicos. Buscando generar una matriz de registro, análisis y visibilización del saber hacer y la tradición ancestral asociado a un territorio específico, escogiendo tres casos de estudio, asociados a tres mujeres de Rapa Nui, cada una de ellas conocedoras y practicantes de técnicas ancestrales específicas en torno a distintas fuentes de materias primas, registro en detalle inédito a la fecha. Para ello, se estudiaron primeramente las prácticas cotidianas de las mujeres de Rapa Nui al interior de cada clan, entorno a los conocimientos emanados de sus propios saberes haceres ancestrales, buscando visibilizar cuáles son esas prácticas cotidianas y el rol que juegan las mujeres al transmitirlos en su cultura. Entonces, el objeto de estudio son los saberes haceres entorno a técnicas vernáculas, ransmitidas a través de la tradición oral, a partir del uso de las fibras vegetales como materias primas para producir vestuario, objetos, esteras e insumos arquitectónicos en pequeña, mediana y/o gran escala	es
dc.description.abstract	This research focuses on the transfer processes surrounding vernacular techniques based on plant fibers for typical uses. Seeking to generate a matrix for recording, analyzing, and highlighting the know-how and ancestral traditions associated with a specific territory, three case studies were chosen, associated with three women from Rapa Nui, each of whom are knowledgeable practitioners of specific ancestral techniques involving different sources of raw materials, recorded in unprecedented detail to date. To this end, the daily practices of the women of Rapa Nui within each clan were first studied, focusing on the knowledge derived from their own ancestral know-how, seeking to highlight these daily practices and the role that women play in transmitting them in their culture. The object of study is therefore the know-how surrounding vernacular techniques, transmitted through oral tradition, based on the use of plant fibers as raw materials to produce clothing, objects, mats, and architectural supplies on a small, medium, and/or large scale.	en_US
